I'm still playing too much Gehin Impact and wanted to cosplay a bow wielding character called Fischl, so I needed a prop bow. So I got blender out and modelled one for 3d printing. The game has numerous bows characte can use but I chose the Favonius Warbow simply because I liked how it looked. Its an original high polygon model designed for 3d printing, not a game rip. The end result is a cosplay prop, not a functioning bow and should be con safe, but check your con's rules fit.
It's split into several parts because the final bow is a metre long at 100% scale. The parts are scaled to fit a CR10 type FDM printer with a 30cm bed. If your machine is smaller, either edit the blend file and make new pieces or split the stls with meshmixer. If you have a larger printer, try scaling it up, a metre for a bow is a bit short really.
You need to print multiple copies of the files as most are only half pieces. Print 2 warbow handles (one mirrored), 4 warbow_mid (2 mirrored), 4 warbow_tip (2 mirrored), 4 warbow fleur (called that because I though it looked like a fleur de lys) , 2 mirrored and 2 warbow string holder. The main pieces are designed to be printed flat to the bed but the fleur, wing and string holder parts will need to be printed with supports.
The “pi” are optional parts (simple cubes and rectangles) to help you join the parts together, the main peices have slots modeled in for them. You need 2 warbow_handle_pi, 2 warbow_top_pi, 4x4 warbow_bodypi and 4 warbow_fleur_pi.
If your printer is dimeional accurate print the pi at full size, if its not very accurate like mine, perhaps scale the pi down to 95%. The parts will need to be glued together (I used Zap a Gap Cyanoacrylate), if you scale it right the handle pi and top pi can be tight push fits so your bow can be dissembled for traport.
The warbow_string_holder pats can be glued to the warbow_tip parts, but both have holes in them for wire. Using wire is advisable for strength, glue some armature wire to the tip and thread the string holder parts through it, then attach the bow string to the wire. I used some elastic cord for the bow string, under very low teion.
